I’m a fourth grade teacher in the Plymouth Canton Community School District in Canton, Michigan. I feel so fortunate that I get to go to a job every day that I absolutely love! My students are my inspiration. While I hold the “traditional” role of the teacher in the classroom, I am amazed by the things that they teach me every day! I attended Eastern Michigan University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a major in mathematics and a minor in reading. I am currently a graduate student at Michigan State University, working on my Master of Arts in Educational Technology (MAET).

I am happily married, have a beautiful baby girl named Mia and a 100 pound dog named Hank. In my spare time I enjoy shopping, yoga, organizing, traveling and searching for inspiration on Pinterest.
